Some quilt shops and catalogs sell blocks of the month to sell fabric and
patterns. The purpose of my block of the month pages are to help you learn
some of the basics of piecing.
I am declaring 2012 as My Year to Give!
Each month I will post a free pattern which everyone can use to make charity quilts. During that month I personally will try to make at least ONE quilt using that pattern for each one of the charities that I have on my personal charity list. At the end of the month/beginning of the next month, I will report on my progress.

Here is another block for the 2011 BOM Sampler.
This one is kind of boring alone but quite exciting when combined with other 2011 BOMs.
The sizes listed below are unfinished. 12 1/2 inches unfinished is 12 inches finished (when placed in a quilt) 6 1/2 inches unfinished is 6 inches finished (when placed in a quilt)

Do you want to convert a pattern to a different size, but don't know
how to do it?
This page might help you.
Please, these blocks are for personal use only.
If you wish to make multiple copies, please ask first.
I don't make any money from these blocks, but I would like credit for
making the directions. To my knowledge, all of the blocks shown here
are of public domain. I have written the instructions only, and have not
designed any of the blocks.
