The Ocean Waves Quilt Guild was established in April 1997 in Rehoboth Delaware. Our guild began with a handful of members, and now we are over 100. In addition to promoting quilting and charity, our mission is education. We call ourselves a teaching guild and offer educational programs and classes for our members. Our guild has many resources, and frequently our own members teach and present programs. We welcome all quilters, beginners and more experienced. There is a place for everyone in Ocean Waves.
The charter members of Ocean Waves chose a blue and white monkey wrench for the guild symbol, as it looked like a rolling wave.
We meet at 10 AM the first Monday of the month, with the exception of Monday holidays such as Labor Day.
