Cancer is an awful thing, and I would love to be able to help in some way in helping find the cure. The only way I can do that is by raising money for the cause, and I have chosen to do that through the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Now that Relay is over I will be raising funds through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. This will be my second year with Making Strides, and I hope to raise $2000 for this event. Any purchases made through this web site (except for retreat payments) will go to Strides
I have donated all of my class and pattern money to Relay and Strides for the last year, and I plan to continue doing that.
As a new "adventure" in fundraising I have decided to offer on-line classes as a way of thanking quilters for donations.
I have started a Yahoo Group, Mysteries For Relay, in which I will offer classes and mysteries in exchange for contributions to either one of my ACS web sites. You will have to pay a $5 fee per class, or make an annual contribution of at least $30, to ACS through me to participate in any class. If you would like to join, please visit Mysteries For Relay to sign up.
Below are some other items which I am offering for sale to help raise funds for ACS.
Thank you again for your support,
Marge

This was my tenth year participating in Relay For Life, which is a spring event. This year I had teams at two different events, and together they raised over $8700 for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to all my team members and all our donors for helping my fight against cancer.
