Having cancer is hard. Finding help shouldn't be.
No matter what you need, the American Cancer Society can help.

25 hours a day, 8 days a week

Over the last 21 years I have participated in 26 Relay For Life events. All of my pattern money (minus PayPal fees) goes to the American Cancer Society as well as the profit from any quilts that I sell. Also, any FUNd raisers that I have at my retreats go straight to my Relay account. I am not a business, I am a Relayer!

Cancer is an awful thing, and I would love to be able to help in some way in helping find the cure. The only way I can do that is by raising money for the cause, and I have chosen to do that through the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. As they say "There is No Finish Line… Until We Find A Cure!" so we will keep on raising money until that happens. If you would like to just donate, please click the donate button below.

every dollar brings us closer to the cure!
Donations can also be mailed to me at the address below. Please make checks payable to American Cancer Society.

Fed up with losing points and wanting something a little whimsical I created Crooked Stars. I've had a lot of fun and used up a lot of scraps with this pattern.

Simply Squares
If you click on either of these quilts you can see a larger version which will show you that some of the corners are hiding. However, it doesn't take away from the quilt at all, does it? That is what makes this pattern so great (unless you live with the quilt police and/or thrive for perfection)

The quilt on the left is my favorite Simply Squares quilt and it was made using all scraps. Yes they are all very close in color value, but there are at least two dozen different blues, reds and yellows in this quilt and the white-on-whites were all scraps too! The red white and blue was not scraps, but some older red and blue stars I had in my stash.

I didn't have a name for this pattern and a friend suggested Churn Dash Square Dance which I think fits it perfectly.
The pattern can be made with any size squares and offers a variety of lay out instructions.

This is another great way to use up stash and/or scraps. However, I made one mistake when I made this one (my own), I chose colors that were too similar. My blues and greens were so close that you can hardly tell which is which. Regardless I've had many compliments on the quilt and I think it is beautiful.             I am happy to say that the Delaware Quilts Relay For Life teams have now raised over $106,000 in the fight against cancer. I could not have done that without the help of a lot of people, family, friends and yes even total strangers. Too many to name, and I'm afraid if I try to name you all, I'll forget someone. Just know that I couldn't have done it without your help, and each one of your dollars is helping someone fighting cancer, or perhaps helping some scientist find the cure. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.
