Delaware Quilts Quilters Retreat 2008 Retreats Log Cabin Quilt Camp Columbus Day Retreat October Retreat November 2008 Retreat All 2008 Retreats are fully booked, so I am showing the 2009 Retreats now. If I have any reservations for that retreat I will show the number of open rooms. I can not add any more retreats in 2009. (You may place your name on a waiting list for any fully booked retreat. We will notify you of any cancellations we have.) The Spring Retreat The Spring Retreat is held at the same time as the Quilters Heritage Celebration. There are many classes offered at the quilt show by well known quilt instructors covering a variety of quilt experiences. For this reason, we do not offer any classes at the spring retreat, giving everyone the opportunity to sign up for classes at the show. We do offer a conference room with lots of room for setting up your machine, or for doing hand work. Many retreaters use this opportunity to catch up on UFOs. We sew all day with some time out for shopping and eating. The opening day of the quilt show is the only time the conference room is closed during the day, giving everyone the chance to visit the show. Spring Retreat packages include accommodations and use of the conference room only. We offer a variety of packages for this retreat including a discounted full package of six days/five nights. 2009 Spring Retreat Tuesday March 30 through check out Sunday April 4 This retreat is fully booked. A retreat, a quilt show, and unlimited time to work on your projects, what else could you ask for? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fall Quilters Retreats The fall Quilters Retreats offer a full retreat schedule: classes, shopping opportunities galore, lots of fun and more. Classes vary every year, and are enjoyed by the newest quilters as well as the experienced ones. I have not decided the classes yet for the 2009 retreats. Please email me with any questions you may have! You may pay your deposit or make other payments securely with any major credit card through PayPal! Links located at the bottom of each retreat page. To reserve a room in any retreat, you must send the non-refundable deposit required (posted with that retreat's details). This will reserve you a space in the conference room, and a room to sleep in. I will not match roommates, so if you do not have a friend to accompany you, you must pay for a private room. If one roommate cancels, the remaining roommate shall be required to pay for a private room, or provide their own paying roommate. For this reason, you should choose your roommate carefully. Each retreat has a limited number of spaces in it, and when those spaces are reserved, I will start a waiting list. When someone cancels, I will email the first person on the waiting list, and give that person the opportunity to take that space. That person will have three days to let me know if they want to attend. After three days I will offer the space to the next person on the waiting list. I will not cancel a retreat due to cancellations. A scheduled retreat will go on as long as someone has a paid reservation. However I will cancel a retreat if there is insufficient enrollment and that cancellation would be announced one month prior to the payment due date. If this should occur, all deposits will be refunded. In all our years of retreating, only two retreats have been cancelled, and one was because I was in the hospital for emergency surgery. I certainly do understand that emergencies happen, however, please understand that I have to pay for the room regardless if you are in it or not. This cancellation policy applies to all retreats and Quilt Camps. The appropriate non-refundable deposit per person is required when you make your reservation. If you are attending more than one retreat, or have booked for years in advance, you must pay a deposit on each retreat. Payment in full must be received 90 days before the retreat start date. (Due date will be posted with the retreat information.) Payment must be received on time or the reservation will be cancelled and all deposits forfeited. Cancellations must be in writing. Email is fine, but if you do not get an acknowledgement within three days you should email again and/or snail mail. Cancellations made within 90 days prior to the retreat start date are transferable to another person, but not refundable. I have to pay my bills on time, and I would appreciate it if you would do the same. I set the retreat due dates so your payment arrives in time for me to pay my bill. Affective immediately, there will be a $20 late charge for any late retreat payments. This policy will be posted with the appropriate dates below each retreat. If the cost of the retreat is greater than the gift certificate, you are responsible for paying the difference. If the cost of the retreat is less than the gift certificate, you may apply the balance to a 2010 retreat or to your roommate's bill. Gift certificate is transferable to another person.
